Choosing a GP is one of the most personal health decisions you can make. This page is here to help you reflect honestly on whether my approach and style of care is the right fit for you.

This may be a good fit if
Perimenopause health is a priority
Hormonal changes can affect physical health, emotional wellbeing, and cognitive function in ways that deserve careful, individual attention — not a rushed consultation.
Mental health or neurodiversity is part of your journey
Whether you are managing anxiety, depression, burnout, or living with ADHD or neurodiversity — you will find a thorough, informed and non-judgemental approach here — within the scope of what general practice can offer.
Weight management is part of your health picture
A whole-person approach — addressing the lifestyle, hormonal, psychological, and metabolic factors that contribute to lasting change, not a one-size-fits-all plan.
Care that looks at the full picture
Physical health, mental wellbeing, lifestyle, and life stage are considered together — whether you are managing a chronic condition or simply want a GP who takes the time to understand you.
This may not be the right fit if
Brief appointments are preferred
Consultations here are thorough and unhurried. If a quick in-and-out style suits you better, another practice may be a more comfortable fit.
Treatments outside the evidence base are what you are seeking
Care here follows current evidence and Australian clinical guidelines. Where treatment is recommended — including medication — it is because the evidence supports it for your situation. If you are looking for a practitioner to provide unproven or alternative treatments, this is unlikely to be the right fit.
You need care that sits outside general practice
Some things need specialist assessment. In Victoria, formal ADHD and autism diagnosis currently requires a psychiatrist, paediatrician or psychologist. I can help you decide whether assessment is worthwhile and refer you to the right person, but I cannot provide it myself.
